For the past several years I have been providing happy hour entertainment and leading sing-alongs at various senior residences in the Seattle area. It is such a profound pleasure to bring smiles to people's faces, and to hear their voices shining out with the delight of rekindled memories as they share beloved songs with friends. Since 2017 I have been the music director of the community chorus at Pacific Regent in Bellevue, Washington; we present two concerts per year, incorporating songs, props, spoken text and a bit of light movement. The warmth and connection the chorus and audience share together when we present these programs is nothing short of pure joy.
"Last night's program was by far the most fun to sing and the most professional we’ve ever done. Plus, you bring great style and fun into our lives and I look forward to our Christmas singing. And thanks, too, for encouraging and challenging me to try something new! I don’t know when I’ve had such fun!" - Arlene Alton, Pacific Regent resident
"Eric Lane Barnes is, in my opinion, one of the most talented and creative persons that I have met in all of my 86 years." - Jack Warfield, Pacific Regent resident
"Eric is an exceptional entertainer and you can truly see his compassion for music and performing for the elderly." - Nancy Lee, Life Enrichment Director, Áegis Gardens of Newcastle
