Music heals. Music connects. Music soothes, uplifts, transports. Music speaks when words fail. A Cottage Concert is designed to bring nourishing music directly to individuals in palliative or hospice care. A consultation with the individual and/or family a day or so before the concert determines song and style selection. I use musical intuition, radical compassion and active mindfulness to guide the course of each concert. I have a portable keyboard which can be set up and taken away quickly and quietly.
