My name is Eric Lane Barnes.
I am a composer, writer, lyricist, pianist, director, conductor, performer and advocate for LGBT rights.
I live to explore all the ways music can connect people with themselves, with one another, and with the world around them.
"Eric Lane Barnes' works are always the show-stoppers and party pieces of our program. There is no joy quite like witnessing a new chorister singing through one of ELB's classics in rehearsal for the first time, and the helpless laughter that usually takes them out before the song is ended."
Dr. Sarah Penicka-Smith, Artistic Director, Pacific Pride Choir
"I am in awe of your songwriting prowess. Serious awe."
Theater and arts writer
"Your show is brilliant! You make me think of the best short story writers who use only a few brush strokes - spare and lush at the same time - to conjure worlds. Most importantly, what you say really matters to us. Bravo!"
